MapSource is great for sitting at your PC and planning routes. I have some mapsource discs from ab old GPS unit (EMAP) - is it worth keeping? My nuvi has the europe maps already installed so was wondering what benefits there is of mapsource ? You just import the ones you need for immediate use, the others remain on long term storage ready to be called upon when required (having deleted routes in the GPS mapping area to make room for them).

Step two is to import the routes into the GPS mapping portion of the unit itself. This just puts them in a storage area on the unit, but not visible to the GPS function. I have a Zumo, and getting routes into it is a two stage afair. Which folder or icon does it go into to retrieve it?
